Matrix was purpose-built by Christian Formby, architect, builder, and entrepreneur, with more than 22 years in the design and construction industry.
As the founder of Hub Interiors and a board member of the Entrepreneurs’ Organisation, Christian knows what modern businesses need to succeed. Intelligent design, seamless function, and a space that speaks to the quality of their work.
Matrix reflects that vision, every corner designed with intention, every detail considered. Christian and his team are known for delivering high-end commercial fit-outs that balance form, function, and ROI. Now, they’ve channelled that expertise into creating a coworking space that supports others on the same journey.

Christian Formby, Co-Founder of Matrix Coworking, is an accomplished architect and builder with 22+ years in design, construction, and commercial fitouts. He combines his expertise with a passion for innovation to create modern, flexible workspaces that foster collaboration and productivity.
Manager
Aaliyah Formby
Aaliyah is the constant pulse of Matrix. As the manager, she is in charge of everything, from making sure the space runs seamlessly to curating the energy of Matrix. She's the first face you see, the one keeping things on track behind the scenes, supporting the community, and keeping the doors open and the vibe right.
Business Support Manager
Carly Wood
Carly Wood is the Business Support Manager at Matrix Coworking, where she ensures operations run smoothly and members receive the highest level of support. Known for her organisation, professionalism, and approachable nature, Carly helps create a welcoming environment that allows the Matrix community to thrive.
